Amazon settlements, in your books
HassleFreeBooks reads your Amazon Seller Central settlement reports and records every settlement as sales, Amazon fees, refunds and the payout to your bank, then matches that payout to the deposit in your bank feed. No spreadsheets, no hand-keyed deposits.
What it does
- Imports each Amazon settlement once it closes (about every 14 days), within the hour.
- Splits a settlement into product sales, Amazon selling and fulfillment fees, refunds, chargebacks and other adjustments, so the lines add up to the payout.
- Matches the payout to the deposit in your connected bank account, so your bank reconciliation is already done.
- Posts sales and fees to the income and expense accounts you choose.
- A monthly report of gross sales, fees, refunds and payouts, for your accountant and for reconciling your 1099-K.
What it never touches
- Read-only: HassleFreeBooks cannot change your listings, prices or orders, and cannot move money.
- No buyer data: it uses only Amazon’s Finance and Accounting access and never reads buyer names, addresses or phone numbers.
- Only you see your data. It is never sold or shared.
How to connect
- Sign in to HassleFreeBooks (or create a free account) and open Merchant Accounts.
- Choose Amazon Seller Central, pick the Amazon store you sell in, and approve read-only access in Seller Central.
- Your settlements start arriving within the hour.
You can also start from the Amazon Selling Partner Appstore: authorize HassleFreeBooks there, sign in here, and the connection lands on your business. Works with Amazon stores in North America, Brazil, Europe, the Middle East, South Africa, India, Singapore and Australia.
Disconnecting
Disconnect any time from Merchant Accounts; the stored authorization is deleted and imports stop. To end access completely, also remove HassleFreeBooks in Seller Central under Apps and Services › Manage Your Apps. Settlements already imported stay in your books.
Pricing
HassleFreeBooks is free while we are in beta, including the Amazon connection.
